Project Eden
A NYC Parks Green Thumb Community Garden
Forest Hills, NY
Project Eden is an all-volunteer community garden under the NYC Parks Department’s GreenThumb initiative. Founded in 1993 by a family who transformed a dump on the side of a train trellis into a little piece of paradise, Project Eden continues to be a peaceful oasis in Forest Hills.
Our Mission: Project Eden serves the community by fostering environmental stewardship and providing a free and open congenial greenspace in which to share a love for nature in Forest Hills.
